The Clapper! Isn’t he a beauty, the people’s champI! I, along with pretty much everyone I know(!), was thrilled to see him finally capture his Group 1 Doncaster Mile title in 2018. After twice finishing runner up the 7yo was able to break through for trainer Pat Webster as Blake Shinn expertly guided him along the rails, racing away to score at his 3rd attempt as the nation cheered!
This piece is my tribute to the champ, it's a hand signed fine art Giclee print of my digital illustration on lightly textured matt stock. It was painted on a MacPro in Photoshop, using my Wacom Intuos Pro tablet.
