So You Think was an absolute superstar, plain and simple. Ten Group 1 wins in two hemispheres including two Cox Plates and almost $9 million in prize money pretty much says it all! I’ll never forget him trouncing that field in the 2009 Cox Plate - it was a breathtaking victory and the second fastest time ever up to that point. He then went on to do it again the following year before finishing 3rd in the Melbourne Cup at his first ever start over 2000m!
This illustration is my tribute to one of the finest colts to ever grace the turf. It is a fine art Giclee print of my digital painting of So You Think, on lightly textured matt stock. I painted this piece on a MacPro using a Wacom Intuos Pro. As with all my prints, this one also comes had signed.
This print is an extremely high quality, archival grade digital print that uses an ultra fine inkjet printing process to produce a superb quality print with unparalleled vibrancy and detail that will literally last well over a life time.
Giclee printing is widely regarded as one of the very best fine art printing methods and has become a standard for artists and photographers displaying their images in art galleries, museums and exhibitions.
Note: Print size includes a 20mm white border.
